Europe 2018 on the R NineT – Day 48: Cologne to Gummersbach

Day 48, 15/07/2018. Back to base… Home!

In the wee hours of Sunday morning, I arrived at Cologne, Germanised as Köln (pronounced “Coeln” as one syllable), thereby ending my Europe trip as a homeless motorcyclist. A well deserved day of relaxation with mates at Gummersbach, a small German town to the east of Cologne that I call my home in Europe. Spent the arvo hiking up a local mine, mindful to avoid stepping on the dynamite wires that lined the perimeter of the plot of secluded land, to look for a place with Konrad to record Tommy Lee Depp‘s next bass cover. Great to be back, with all limbs and fairings intact!
