Day 20, 17/06/2018. A small detour into one of Austria’s greatest mountain passes.

An unbelievably majestic arena of snow capped mountains, rushing rivers, towering waterfalls and winding roads that don’t seem to stop climbing upwards, the Grossglockner High Alpine Road can be considered as the greatest offering of Austria for a scenic destination.
I am so regretful about arriving at this place so late into the evening, at around 8:30pm, so I couldn’t spend much time at all. What’s most important, though, is that I’ve ridden on this exquisite piece of asphalt. Period. I am better off today than I was yesterday, and I am looking forward to what tomorrow brings.
