Day 21, 18/06/2018. If there was just one road to ride on Italian territory, it would be the Stelvio!

It would have been nuts if I didn’t ride across more of the mountain passes nearby whilst I was still in the Alps region. Due to upcoming routes, my time is limited out here so only the best could suffice.
Not too far off from the Grossglockner in Austria is the Italian border where, once crossed, leads to the home of one of the most astounding views of the European mountain range. The iconic Stelvio Pass was a place that absolutely had to be visited.
Initally, it was quite difficult to get a vantage point from which to take a proper photo that included both the terrain and the bike; one that is able to fully display the vastness and might of the colossal valley.. After going up and down the road numerous times, I managed to discover the best viewpoint. So happy to have visited the phenomenal Stelvio!
